Flockmaster

We love working with iconic brands and there’s none bigger in the motorcycle world than Harley Davidson. It was a pleasure to provide AS Colour custom printed shirts for the team at Morgan & Wacker.

This week we celebrated Som’s retirement after 35 years of service at Flockmaster.
Born in Loas he escaped the country during a Civil War in the 80’s by swimming across a large river to Thailand in the darkness of night, whilst the army shot bullets into the water.
After years in a refugee camp he migrated to Australia for a better life.
Not long after landing in Australia he gained employment at Flockmaster as a printers assistant. This is where he learned the trade of screen printing and he soon became a specialist Flock transfer printer - which was a very popular method in the 90’s.
As new print methods came along and industry demands changed he adapted his skills to master these techniques.
35 years of service to one company is an impressive achievement.
