Made a thing! It interfaces two other things! And it just launched in LA. If you recognise what any of this stuff is and you want to know more, hit me up!

Here’s a fun one.. the tally indicator on the comically small Micro Studio Cameras is too low to be seen over the lens. We made a tally repeater that uses a colour sensor to detect the correct RGB value and turn on four 10mm Red LED’s 50mm above. We have the same cage on all these cameras so it was easy to incorporate the mounting. Colour sensing is a fun new territory for SA!..
When the pandemic hit Melbourne hard in March and we went into the first lockdown, Signal Audio supplied a lot of equipment to my church, St Jude’s in Carlton, for what we then thought might be just a few weeks of online streaming. Now, 30 weeks in.. I’m going to share some of the inventions that this necessity brought about.

Camera mounts often require custom machined parts. Here’s a couple. CAD by us, CAM by , CNC by . One is a 5/8” receiver to Ronin-S mount (the stock bracket is an awful flat thing - pictured), the other is a bracket to rigidly brace Micro Studio Cameras and Canon 70-200mm lenses. When using lens mount adapters there’s always some rotational give; which if you’re mounting FIZ motors just won’t do. Chris & Ignite Digi are the best fabricators I work with!..
