My client used AI to design her home. Then booked a consultation with me anyway.
She came to our consultation with AI generated visuals she wanted my opinion on. I could tell straight away they were AI output. And honestly, that's becoming more and more common.
But she still came back. Not because the images were not good. Because she was still unsure. She wanted someone to look at what she had and tell her whether it would actually work. Whether the proportions felt right. Whether there was a better option she had not considered.
She had the renders. What she did not have was the confidence to move forward.
And that is the gap.
AI can show you what your home could look like. It cannot give you a human opinion. It cannot narrow down a decision based on real experience. It won't tell you that the joinery feels heavy because the composition is off, that a layout issue is hiding in your floor plan, or that the island design it generated would be far too costly to actually fabricate.
You can absolutely use AI in your design process. But the clarity, the actual confidence to say this is right, this is my home, that still comes from working with someone who knows what they are looking at.
Comment ā3Dā and let's talk about your project.
A room can look great on a mood board and feel completely wrong once you're in it.
That's almost always a Flow problem.
Flow is how you actually move through and live in your home. And the frustrating part is that by the time most people realise the layout isn't working, the walls are already up.
If you want me to take a look at your floor plan before things get locked in, comment REVIEW below and I'll send you the details on how I can help.
