Meet Aunty Helen Morgan, who was inducted to the Victorian Aboriginal Honour Roll this year.

Aunty Helen is a proud Bidwell, Gunai, and Gunditjmara woman, who has given decades of service to Aboriginal health and community in the Bairnsdale region.

Throughout her life, Aunty Helen has lived the values of generosity, love and care, every day.

She has turned the challenges she faced as a young girl into a lifelong commitment to serve others.

Lovingly called “Mummy Nanny” by many in the community, Aunty Helen has shown what it means to serve with love, to fight with determination, and to give without expecting anything in return.
