How to get to Library on MacOS


The Library folder on your Mac contains important system files for your preferences and settings.


It’s rare that you’ll need to access this folder.


However it’s possible to open it if you need to diagnose a problem or to find settings files for certain programs.


Be careful before deleting or modifying any files in this folder.


How to access the Library folder
1. Open Finder
2. Press and hold the Option key on the keyboard
3. From the Go menu, press Library
Note: If you aren’t pressing the Option key, this won’t be shown.

2. Click on Account Settings

3. Click the + button and enter 1.1.1.1
4. Click + again and enter 1.0.0.1
5. Click + again and enter 2606:4700:4700::1111
6. Click + again and enter 2606:4700:4700::1001
7. Click OK, then Apply
