From 1 July 2026, a government-regulated price update of 3.1 per cent will take effect across all Victorian cemetery trusts in line with the Consumer Price Index.

By finalising your pre-planning arrangements this month, you can secure your preferred location at Springvale at today's rates. More importantly, pre-planning locks in the cost of your selected memorial forever, completely protecting your loved ones from future financial stress.

We know that space within our established, historic grounds is highly sought after by families wishing to stay close together. Taking the step to plan ahead is one of the most practical and thoughtful gifts you can leave for them.

This Saturday 25 April, we're holding our second ever ANZAC Dawn Service at the Springvale War Cemetery within SBC. The service will start at 6 am with our mobile cafe Hilda serving jam donuts and warm coffee beforehand. ☕

If you are visiting Springvale Botanical Cemetery over the long weekend, our team at Café Vita et flores is here to serve you.

Whether you need a quiet coffee after visiting a loved one, or a comfortable place to gather and share a meal with family, the café will be open every day.

Good Friday, 3 April: 9 am – 4 pm
Easter Saturday, 4 April: 9 am – 4 pm
Easter Sunday, 5 April: 9 am – 4 pm
Easter Monday, 6 April: 9 am – 4 pm

Walk-ins are always welcome. If you are bringing a large group for a seated service, we recommend calling ahead to secure a table.
