Little children can have big feelings 💛

From the moment they’re born, children experience emotions. As they grow, those feelings become more complex, shaped by their experiences, relationships and the world around them.

Children learn how to understand and express feelings by watching the people closest to them. That’s why creating a safe space to talk, listen and name emotions can make such a big difference.

When children can understand their feelings, they’re better able to:
💜build relationships
💜manage stress
💜solve problems
💜feel calm when things are hard

It’s important for children to know that all feelings are okay, even anger, sadness or worry. At the same time, we can guide them towards safe and respectful ways to respond.

Programs like ParentZone support parents and carers with practical tools to help children navigate big feelings and build confidence for life.
