Here are just some of the amazing projects our Cre8 Wangaratta participants have been working on! ✨
Michael has been creating a logo board for his all abilities soccer team, while Kaitlin has been putting together a Halloween welcome sign.
Josh has been building planner boxes for his Auntie, Jacob is turning an old fire extinguisher into a lamp, Zac is crafting guitar wall art, and Geoff has been restoring a family buffet that’s been in his family for years.
We love seeing these ideas come to life! Awesome work guys💙

National Reconciliation Week (27 May – 3 June) is a time for all Australians to reflect on our shared history and consider how we can each contribute to a more respectful and inclusive future with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
At VMCH, reconciliation is part of how we show care and respect every day. It can be as simple as learning about the Traditional Owners of the land we’re on, acknowledging Country, or having open and respectful conversations with those around us.
These small, meaningful actions help build greater understanding, connection and respect across our communities.
If you’re looking to learn more or get involved, visit Reconciliation Australia (https://www.reconciliation.org.au/) or explore events happening in your local area this week.

Meet Emma 👋
Recently Emma has been spending time out in the community with the Wantirna Community Connections crew, building her confidence with travelling independently on public transport.
This trip took her into the city, where she enjoyed seeing some familiar Melbourne spots and checking out the new Melbourne Metro Tunnel along the way!
Nice work Emma! ⭐️
