NAIDOC Week Celebration

This week, children across all age groups engaged in meaningful NAIDOC Week experiences, fostering an appreciation and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories, and achievements.

Through storytelling, creative experiences, art activities, music, and discussions, children explored the importance of connection to Country, culture, and community. Educators shared stories and learning opportunities that encouraged children to listen, reflect, and celebrate the rich traditions and contributions of First Nations peoples.

The children showed great curiosity and respect as they participated in experiences that promoted inclusion, cultural awareness, and a sense of belonging. It has been wonderful to see children actively engage in learning about Australia's First Peoples and celebrate the theme of NAIDOC Week together.

We are proud to continue embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our program and thank our children, families, and educators for making this week such a meaningful celebration. ❤️💛
