Behruz Studio

The Panthera Collection has a personal history within Behruz Studio.

It began with an original antique tiger rug owned by our founder, Behruz, which lived in the family home for many years.

Amir grew up around that piece and later reworked it for Behruz Studio, developing the Panthera Collection across a series of colourways.

This piece is Panthera Verde.

Each rug is handwoven in Nepal by Tibetan weavers using a luxurious blend of wool and silk, continuing a weaving tradition that dates back more than 200 years.

The tiger rug carries a long history of symbolism and craft. In the Panthera Collection, that history has been reinterpreted with a contemporary sensibility, creating pieces that feel collected, considered and enduring.

Dark, cocooning and richly layered, the Botanical House by is a study in atmosphere, texture and quiet luxury.

Our custom rug was created to sit deeply within this mood, grounding the space with warmth, depth and movement beneath the timber, leather and soft architectural shadows.
Hand knotted in a traditional Tibetan knot and designed by , the piece brings a subtle aged character to the room, adding softness, soul and a sense of lived in refinement.
