Talk to Me is out on all platforms!
It’s my first song entirely in Hebrew and I wrote it a few years ago when I was in Israel. It’s about having challenging conversations with empathy and being open to different perspectives. Sometimes in love and in war, everyone wants to defend themselves.

I’ve added the Hebrew lyrics here, as well as the English translation and the Hebrew phonetic spelling in case you’d like to sing along and don’t speak Hebrew.

I recorded the vocals and guitar in my bedroom and met up with in Tel Aviv when I was living there last year to continue working on the song. He flowed around the changing chords and dancing melodies effortlessly and added violins, bass and keys and then I sent the stems to in Australia who did the final mix and master.

Being the first language I grew up with (I moved to Australia when I was 5), singing in Hebrew has always brought me closer to myself and it’s been a dream of mine to release something in Hebrew. It’s such a beautifully expressive language. Grateful I grew up speaking it with my family and friends and now that there’s the internet, as an adult I can listen to podcasts where people are chatting and talking about life and keep being part of this language and community (as well as still talking to family and friends).
