Insight Development
STEP 2 - Time to exercise your right brain. You can do this with words or pictures, with a list or a mind map, however suits you best. This is a brainstorming exercise to put down everything on your sheets of paper that you'd love to achieve or have. You MUST do this with NO LIMITS on your thinking. Forget about practicality; we'll get to that later. Do this activity like a five year old writes a list to Santa - with excitement, without boundaries, without judgement, without logic. Set yourself 10 minutes and get as much on each sheet of paper as you can. Include things you'd like for yourself and for others. Include the things that might feel a little scary to do but will feel great when you've achieved them. Include "little" things and "big" things. Want to make the best cheese sandwich ever ? - write it down, Always wanted to own a private jet ? - draw a picture of it. GO !
STEP 1 - Get some separate sheets of paper & write a heading on each. Make up your own headings or use these 5 suggestions; Health & Wellbeing, Happiness, Personal Development & Relationships, Finance, Business or Career.
Here's a simple and effective goal setting process. Today is a great day to spend time on this activity. You can do this in as little as half an hour. Choose a place where you can focus; it can be outside or inside, at home, at your favourite coffee place. You MUST do this with pen & paper though, no typing. Coloured pens or textas are even better if that's your style !
Hope everyone has enjoyed some great time with friends and family over the Easter Break.
