The first thing I found I loved experimenting and learning about is bread doughs! Particularly sourdough bread/focaccia, bagels, enriched laminated doughs (viennoiserie/croissant, pain au chocolat), and milk bread.
I've always wanted to learn about these but felt intimated by how much time they require to create and achieve. With all the time in the world (inbetween all the mum duties) and many willing friends to gain some inches on the hips, I was able to whip, knead and fold away. My journey is still ongoing with lots of fails and success π§πΏ
Will these be a feature in the new DS? I'm not sure yet π€¨

It's been awhile since we have posted...yes maybe 6 years? We are excited to announce we will be relaunching Decorative Sweets late this year. New logo, and new studio space ππβΊοΈ. We will be coming back a little different to what you may remember us from the past. In the last 6 years I didn't stop baking and creating, if anything I've taken the time learn new techniques and skill and find what I'm passionate about again. Shall I show you what I've been up?
