Ada Lovelace was the first person to recognise the full potential of computers and hence, came to be known as the first computer programmer ever.

In her teenage years, her mathematical talents led her to work and become friends with the British mathematician Charles Babbage who is also known as "the father of computers". She was particularly interested in Charles' work on the Analytical Engine.

iIn one of her notes, she described an algorithm for the Analytical Engine to compute Bernoulli numbers. That is considered to be one of the first published alogrithms ever specifically for implementation on a computer. That is why Ada has been called the first computer programmer. The engine was never completed so her program was never tested.

In the times when women weren't even allowed to study, Ada not only studied, but achieved so much and paved a path for all to enter this field.

When you’re out there building, testing, changing and iterating you’re learning more and more paths to happiness. Start building something!

We live by this sentiment in our work every day.

Development doesn't always work perfectly in the first time, nor is your first design likely to be the best user experience. It takes a lot of rounds of building, testing, changing and iterating to make it perfect. We do it because we want nothing but the best for our customers.

At DDSN, like Tim, we acknowledge the best of web is yet to come.

While the Internet has dramatically changed lives around the world, its full impact will only be realised when far more people - representative of global population - information and services are on-line - and that is something that happens every day.

This week's quote is by the founder of world-wide-web (www) - Tim Berners Lee.

Robert Cailliau, who designed the Web with Berners-Lee in 1989, said having more data on the Internet, and more people with the ability to access it, will spur the development of new technology and solutions to global problems.

We invest a lot into R&D and have a suite of digital transformation processes that allows us to keep contributing to a brighter digital future.

Dr. Franklin's work was central to understanding the molecular structures of DNA, RNA, viruses, coal, and graphite. Her work to make clearer X-ray patterns of DNA molecules laid the foundation for the identification that DNA is a double-helix polymer in 1953.

If I asked you how many jelly beans were in these jars what would you guess?
That was the competition DDSN Interactive held at this week. Can you guess closer than the winner Helena Tully ?

What is special about the legacy of Hedy Lamarr is that not only is she known for her works in films like Delilah and Algiers, she is a renowned inventor inducted 2014 to the American National Inventors Hall of fame.

Hedy collaborated with George Antheil develop a radio guidance system, which was intended to be used as a frequency-hopping spread spectrum technology to defeat the threat of radio frequency jamming. This technology was an important development in wireless communications, a precursor to wifi and GPS technologies. She also collaborated with other engineers to improve aviation designs during war.

At DDSN we relate to Hedy as a creative , if you don't limit yourself, you can achieve wonders.

We believe in pushing boundaries everyday and coming up with creative digital solutions.
