District 7 Expo Day π
We were lucky enough to spend the day at the District 7 Expo, providing a great opportunity to connect with existing brigades using StationOne and sign up some new brigades and units πͺπΌπ₯
Great effort by the event organisers, having the opportunity to see a variety of different CFA Offerings alongside Triple Zero Vic and Vic SES.

When the call comes in, your water supply can't be a question mark π¦
Hydrant failures during an active incident aren't just a setback, they're a risk to lives and property. Yet in many brigades, hydrant inspection is still done on paper, tracked in spreadsheets, or simply not tracked at all π
StationOne's hydrant management gives your brigade the tools to stay on top of it:
β° Scheduled inspection cycles: every hydrant gets a due date, and you know when it's overdue
πΊοΈ Hydrant runs: group hydrants into a run and knock them out efficiently as a crews
π ArcGIS sync: import your hydrant data automatically based on your response area
ποΈ Inspection history: a full record of every test, fault, and repair for every hydrant in your area
π± Mobile-ready: conduct runs and log inspections from the field on your phone
Compliance isn't just about ticking boxes. It's about being able to hand someone a record that says: we checked it, it worked, and here's when.
Your hydrants should never be the reason an incident goes wrong πͺπΌ

Instant notifications, only about the things that matter π―
As we get closer to the public launch of our Native iOS and Android StationOne App - push notifications are starting to come together π²
Push notifications provide an immediate alternate to email notifications, ensuring you are immediately made aware of any tasks or issues that may affect your operation without clogging up your inbox.
We have added more push notification support in v0.23.0 of the platform, and are aiming to make a general release for the Native App in the coming weeks π

Volunteer firefighters don't sit at desks. They're at the station, on the truck, or at home waiting for a call.
So why do we still rely on notice boards and email chains to keep members informed?
Keeping volunteer members engaged is one of the biggest challenges facing brigades today. StationOne's Station Portal gives every member instant access to upcoming events, training schedules, equipment status, and more; right from their phone. No login hassle, no chasing down the brigade admin.
When information is easy to reach and members can see what's happening, what needs attention, and where they're needed, compliance and engagement aren't problems. They're natural outcomes.
That's the goal. π

StationOne v0.18.0 is now available π
This one's packed with improvements across the platform:
π§° Equipment just got serious. Track third-party servicing with configurable intervals and automatic reminders, attach files (receipts, service records), add notes with a full audit trail, and run a dedicated servicing report.
π― Actions are more powerful than ever. Mark a vehicle out of service directly from a reported issue. Export actions to PDF. Set up recurring tasks (monthly checks, annual reviews). And now any action can be made public via your Station Portal.
ποΈ Events now support waitlisting. Set minimum and maximum attendee limits β members are waitlisted automatically when you hit capacity.
π§βπ Member records got smarter. Capture dietary requirements and allergies, and export that data as CSV β handy for catering at training days and events.
πͺπΌ Training sessions can now be cancelled with automatic notifications to attendees, keeping everyone in the loop.
π Library improvements β tag articles and search from both the admin console and Station Portal.
Plus a framework upgrade, security patches for two CVEs, tightened data scoping, and a stack of bug fixes under the hood.

Introducing Purchase Orders in StationOne π¦
Brigades can now raise, approve, and track supply orders directly in StationOne β no spreadsheets, no paper trails.

βοΈ Kiosk Check-Out β Members can now check out, availability auto-resets, and admins can bulk check out the whole crew. Set a configurable on-station timeout for stragglers.
π― Actions β Brigade users can now create their own actions, attach files, and add photos directly from the Station Portal when reporting an issue.
