Open still! Surprisingly, the 1000 Steps walk has not been closed. Not yet, anyway. I did the walk yesterday (starting from the top) and listened to a really interesting video that a friend sent me the link to. It is well worth listening to, I see no reason this expert would lie or risk his amazing career and reputation? New Years Day, dawn hike. Plenty of other people on the steps having fun and enjoying the bush too. ππ
Boxing Day hike up the 1000 Steps. Before 7am a number of walkers were out enjoying the forest. π

I laughed when I first saw this flashing sign on the way to walk the 1000 (hmmm..780) Steps late last year. π
The steps are still closed of course, but I for one am looking forward to getting the leg muscles going again, hopefully before too long!πΆ
