kindly lent me the new RF 7–14mm Fisheye lens for a few match days.

It’s not the first lens you’d reach for, but it definitely opened my eyes to a whole new perspective on the game, being very near, yet very far away.

I was able to reimagine moments within the inner sanctum, having shot similar scenes over the past 10+ years at the club. It was a great addition to my kit. There were moments during the game when I wished I could use it, especially imagining goal celebrations from ideal positions, but having the lens for more intimate moments, like team huddles and walkouts, made me want to see how far I can push such an underused lens 📸
