Delta Conservation

Survey and assessment of built heritage and its elements (sandstone, bluestone, brickwork and traditional mortars).
Dust deposition, surface friability due to the formation of white soluble salt efflorescences, and biological growth (plants, mosses, lichens and cyanobacteria) damage mortars and brick structures.

Last week, Thursday 26th September, conservator Harpreet Tanday gave a presentation with title: A Review on the Workshop "Hydrogels in Conservation".
She shared her learnings from the 2023 Workshop by Matthew Cushman organized by CESMAR7-Centro per lo Studio dei Materiali per il Restauro in Italy.
Harpreet attended the workshop thanks to ArtsNational Armidale Mid-Career Scholarship.
