The conversations we engage in play a significant role in shaping our future.

Some conversations lead to publication opportunities.
Some challenge our thinking.
Some remind us that we are not alone in our struggles.
Some unveil opportunities we never knew existed.
Some provide the confidence needed to take the next step.

This is CTS Momentum.

We view it not just as another membership, but as a collection of rooms:

๐Ÿ’ฌ Real & Unfiltered
๐ŸŽ“ Academia
๐Ÿข Industry
๐Ÿš€ Business & Entrepreneurship
๐Ÿ’ฐ Money & Financial Confidence
๐Ÿค Opportunities & Collaboration
๐Ÿ“š Learning & Resources

One community. Many conversations. Endless possibilities and futures.

You donโ€™t have to remain in one room forever.
As your research, career, and aspirations evolve, so do the conversations that can facilitate your growth.

So, if you had to choose just one room to engage in this week, which would it be?

๐ŸŽ‰ This week, our Founder, Izelle Labuschagne, celebrated her birthday.

Birthdays have a way of making us pause and reflect.

For Izelle, one thing stood out above everything elseโ€ฆ the incredible privilege of walking alongside thousands of researchers through some of the biggest moments of their journeys.

From first-year Honours, Masters and PhD students to graduates changing the world, every journey has been a reminder that researchers achieve extraordinary things when they have the right support.

Every conversation.

Every breakthrough.

Every thesis submitted.

Every moment someone found the confidence to keep going.

Every researcher who stepped into a new career, launched a business, published their work, or discovered what was possible beyond their PhD.

These moments are the reason Complete Thesis Support exists.

Not simply to help researchers finish a thesis.
But to help them build confidence, create momentum, and create meaningful impact through their work, their leadership, and their lives.

So rather than receiving gifts this year, Izelle wanted to give something back.

Because every researcher deserves someone in their corner. โœจ๏ธ

For one week only, we're celebrating with special Birthday Gifts for new members joining our community.

We know that one conversation, one clear plan, and the right community can completely change the direction of your journey.

If you're ready to create momentum in your thesis, research or career journey...
Drop a ๐Ÿš€ below (or send us a DM) and we'll reply with all the details of this week's Birthday Gifts ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ

Otherwise, we'd love you to help us celebrate!
Drop a ๐ŸŽ‰ in the comments to wish Izelle a happy birthday.

Thank you for being part of the CTS community.

Here's to another year of supporting researchers, celebrating achievements, and creating meaningful impact together.

Completing a PhD changes many thingsโ€”but for many researchers, one conversation still gets left behind: money.

How do you move from years of study and delayed income into a future that feels abundant, sustainable, and aligned with the life you want to build?

At CTS Momentum, our post-thesis community, we're creating space for the conversations researchers rarely get to have - but deeply need as they step into what's next.

Because our relationship with money influences far more than our finances.

It affects the opportunities we pursue.

The confidence we bring into negotiations.

The risks we're willing to take.

The lives we imagine are possible for ourselves and our families.

So many brilliant people have never had the chance to explore money without judgement, pressure, or shame.

That's why we're excited to welcome Louise Syphers for a live mentoring session:

๐ŸŒฟ Money, Worth & Possibility: An Honest Conversation for Researchers
๐Ÿ“… Tuesday, 7 July
๐Ÿ•˜ 9:00am AEST
๐Ÿ’ป Live on Zoom

Louise brings 17 years of experience helping people transform their relationship with money from the inside out - exploring the beliefs, patterns, and assumptions that shape how we earn, receive, and create abundance.

There'll also be plenty of time for live Q&A.

If you're navigating your next chapter beyond the PhD and want to build a healthier, more empowered relationship with money, we'd love to have you join us.

Comment MONEY below or send me a DM, and I'll send you the details.

Most research students don't need more information.

They need momentum.

After working with researchers for years, I've realised that the biggest breakthroughs rarely come from learning another framework, reading another paper, or attending another webinar.

They come from:

โœ“ A clear plan.
โœ“ Accountability.
โœ“ Consistency.
โœ“ A supportive environment.
โœ“ People walking alongside you.

One of our PhD students recently shared:

"Over the past two weeks, I've achieved more clarity around my thesis and more confidence in my ability to achieve it than in the past three years of my PhD. Honestly. Stress levels have gone from 10 down to a 2."

What changed wasn't her intelligence.

It was her environment.

So, starting on 1 July, I'm opening something a little different...

I'm looking for 25 research students who are ready to invest in themselves and create a meaningful shift in their research over the next 30 days.

More clarity.
More confidence.
Less stress.
More momentum.

This isn't another course.

It's a focused month of planning, accountability, mentoring, community, and support designed to help you move your research forward with intention.

If you're ready to make the next quarter count, comment JULY below or send me a message, and I'll share the details.

Who else is ready for a fresh start and a stronger second half of the year? ๐Ÿš€

And if you know another researcher who is feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready to make the next quarter count, please feel free to tag them, share this post, or send it their way. Sometimes the right environment can make all the difference. โค๏ธ

One of the things that surprises many people after the PhD is this:

Nobody really prepares you for what comes after.

Not just professionally.

Financially.

You spend years becoming highly skilled, highly capable, deeply knowledgeableโ€ฆ

And then suddenly youโ€™re trying to navigate questions like:

How do I actually earn well from here?

What am I worth outside academia?

What does financial stability even look like now?

For many researchers, these conversations were never openly had.

Which is exactly why weโ€™re opening one inside CTS Momentum next week.

On May 1, Louise Syphers is joining us for:

๐ŸŒฟ From Researcher to Financially Empowered: A New Way to Think About Money

A grounded conversation about money, value, earning, and what becomes possible when researchers begin thinking differently about financial empowerment.

Honestly, I think this conversation is deeply needed.

CTS Momentum was created for researchers navigating the post-thesis transition - career direction, identity shifts, financial pressure, and what comes next.

If youโ€™ve been feeling in-between lately, this space may be exactly what you need.
