We had adams sled in for a touch up after he added factory boost control to his sexy wagon.

We were very soft on the tune up as this car is still on P98 and only has a 3" exhaust.

When Adam gets time he intends on making a full 4" system along with some other modifications, maybe a G40 is on the cards 🤔

After we ran it through all the low load sections of the maps to check all the trims are still perfect, we got to work dialling in some more boost.

We are very happy with the result from such a small 2 PSI increase we have picked up 50kw.

Adam is now back on the streets, rowing gears and breaking hearts with a healthy power increase.

We will convince him to put a man sized turbo and e85 on this car very soon stay tuned.

We had Browny and Ash come down from bendigo to have custom engine and zf calibrations carried out on there immaculate FG falcons

Both cars came in with the following
modifications,

• Head studs
• Valve springs
• Oil pump gears
• Antz race intercooler kits
• Full exhaust
• Battery relocation kit
• PSR GTX3584rs gen III
• PSR external gate rear housing
• Gfb external wastegates
• Bosch 1150cc injectors
• Walbro 460 fuel pump
• S.P E85 engine and zf calibration.

After loading base files into both cars and giving Brownys ute a quick zap on the dyno,
We had a boost control issue.

We started with rerouting some wastegate solenoid lines but the issue was still very much a problem.

For interest sake we backed Ashs F6 on the dyno and it had the exact same issue.

So after making an educated guess, we made the call to Josh at ProHose and had 2x Turbosmart 45mm wastegates delivevered.

After fitting both wastegates we put the ute back on the dyno and like magic, we had perfect boost control like we always get from the PSR rear housings.

After comparing the two wastegates (GFB vs Turbosmart) we found the GFB has roughly half the poppet travel as the turbosmart unit.
Along with that the area above the poppet valve is also much smaller on the GFB unit causing boost to climb uncontrollably on these setups.

We finished up with the ute making 402kw on 17 psi and the F6 making 411kw on 16 psi.

Both cars are out of fuel pump and will be returning with surge tanks fitted and may be getting turned up a little bit once the boys get bored of 400kw.

We are absolutely wrapped with how both cars turned out and i can tell you, after the test drives the boys couldn't wipe the smile off their faces.

It was an absolute pleasure to tune these absolutely immaculate falcons.
We havent had engines this happy for quite some time, and they should both easily make 480-500kw with some more fuel pump.

We had Josephs au turbo sohc street/drift car in this week's for some S.P magic.
Sporting a ba ecu we got to work dialling in the setup.
After sorting out some ignition misfire issues with some replacement coil packs, we also fitted some colder range spark plugs with a tighter gap.

With the aim of the game being reliability on 98 octane, we were very conservative with the tune up,
With a peak of 8.5 psi we managed a best of 183kw and 540nm.

The log style exhaust manifold seems to be strangling power in the top end along with the stock camshaft.
we did try turning the boost up slightly and gained nothing past 4000 rpm so it was turned back down to 8.5 psi.

The car drives great and should cover all bases on and off the street.
