I recently participated in a School Readiness program. Where I had the pleasure of engaging with a Speech Therapist, and an Occupational Therapist. They spoke about how we can help support our children, as they prepare to transition into school. I would like to share with you some key notes that I felt were very informative.

- Social and Community Participation -
Today we had lots of fun at Peninsula Autism Friendship Group.
The focus was Winter ❄️
This beautiful little man decorated snow cookies, engaged in many wonderful activities, played with other peers. Whilst building on his language and communication skills, social interactions with peers. His favourite activity this week was the Scavenger hunt, he enjoyed finding all the winter pictures.
