Today we said goodbye to a very special member of the Playmakers family.
After serving up countless nutritious meals, plenty of smiles and more than a few laughs, Chef Troy has finished up with us to embark on an exciting new career opportunity in aged care.
Troy, thank you for the care, passion and pride you brought to our kitchen every single day. Your delicious meals and friendly nature have been appreciated by our children, families and team alike, and you'll be greatly missed.
From all of us at Playmakers, thank you for everything you've done. We wish you every success and happiness in this next chapterโyou'll always be welcome back for a coffee and a chat!
Good luck, Troy! ๐๐จโ๐ณ

Today weโre incredibly proud to celebrate a very special milestone for one of our team members - Zarley has officially completed her Early Childhood Education traineeship through Gowrie Victoria! ๐๐
Zarley joined Playmakers Early Learning as a passionate school leaver beginning her journey in early childhood education, and over the course of her traineeship she has grown into a confident, capable and nurturing educator. We are so proud of the dedication, care and professionalism she has shown throughout her learning journey.
At Playmakers Early Learning, we are deeply committed to investing in the next generation of educators through high-quality training, mentoring and real-world learning experiences. This is why we proudly partner exclusively with Gowrie Victoria for all of our trainee educators.
Gowrie Victoria are recognised leaders in early childhood education and professional learning, and their values strongly align with our own commitment to quality, reflective practice, inclusion, wellbeing and child safety. The combination of Gowrieโs industry-leading education and the hands-on mentoring and practical experience our trainees receive within our service creates an incredibly strong foundation for future educators entering the sector.
For us, partnerships like this are about much more than qualifications - they are about ensuring children are supported by educators who have been trained within environments that prioritise safety, professionalism, critical reflection and high-quality early learning outcomes.
Congratulations again, Zarley We are so proud to have been part of your journey and cannot wait to see what the future holds for you. ๐

๐ฅ African Drumming Incursion โ What a Way to Start the Year! ๐
Last Friday we were thrilled to welcome African Drumming for our first incursion of the year.
Our facilitator Odai brought incredible energy, warmth and fun to the session, instantly engaging the children through rhythm, movement and music. ๐ถโจ
The children were fully immersed โ feeling the beat and exploring rhythms! It was a fantastic cultural experience that supported listening skills, coordination and a whole lot of fun!
Thank you, Odai, for an unforgettable session โ we canโt wait to do it again! ๐
