Wear It Purple Day is an annual event that occurs on the last Friday of August, dedicated to fostering supportive, safe, and inclusive environments for rainbow young people. It encourages individuals, schools, and workplaces to wear purple to demonstrate their support for LGBTQIA+ youth and celebrate diversity within the rainbow community. The day aims to raise awareness about issues faced by LGBTIQA+ youth and promote the message that everyone has the right to be proud of who they are.
