Check yo drains!!

This residence’s yard was flooding every time it rained. When we arrived, the garage had been completely flooded and water had entered the house. Carpet was removed, skirting was removed, wall linings removed and some home contents had to be tossed out.

Upon further investigations, we had discovered that there wasn’t enough drainage in the yard to allow water to run off, the existing drains were decades old and non-compliant also.

We treated the internal water damage as required, organised some replacement skirting and carpet for the garage and got the local plumbers involved to add some extra drainage to this yard to allow adequate water run off.

In 2022, we’ve been experiencing abnormal amounts of rain in NSW and the homes that are closer to bush land or forests are copping it when it comes to mould.
