I am pretty proud of this one. I have put on my publishers hat and started what will be a new line for me.
This is a journal to help young netballers keep a track of their journey.
It has places to record what they have learnt that week at training, court diagrams so that they can draw it out and a also a section to fill in to keep a record of the games, scores and what they did well and not so well!
It is also filled with positive affirmations and motivational quotes.

The Rule of Thirds — Something I have been coaching for a number of years now.

In training, we talk a lot about “consistency,” but not enough about what consistency actually looks like.
Here’s the truth I teach my athletes:

🔹 A third of your sessions you’ll feel great.
Everything clicks. You’re in rhythm. The work feels almost effortless.

🔹 A third will be solid.
Not spectacular, not terrible — just honest, steady progress. These are the quietly important days.

🔹 And a third will feel tough, sluggish, or messy.
You question your form, your energy, your confidence. Nothing seems to land quite right.

And that last third?
That’s not failure.
That’s normal — and it’s a critical part of becoming a stronger athlete.

The Rule of Thirds teaches resilience. It teaches athletes that growth isn’t linear, and that the “messy” days are where you build grit, awareness, and long-term performance.

Whether in sport, business, or life, the same pattern shows up.
Show up anyway. Honour the work. Trust the cycle.

That’s how champions are made — one third at a time.

Recovery done right!!
Best time to run here is early morning before the traffic goes nuts!
Problem is it’s bloody dark!
