My kids just recently asked if they can ever go back on Roblox again. Hubby and I had to - again - remind them why it’s a HARD NO. 40M games on the platform, all user-generated, means there are games where you can go into bathrooms to see or do explicit acts, games to sh00t pregnant women, games where you can be beat up by D!ddy, and see hate speech graffitied on walls… Umm I don’t want this conditioning my kids either overtly or subconsciously. Yes our kids play a bunch of other games, watch TV, and shock horror they still play outside and with friends. Not all games are bad but when one like this comes up, we need to take our kids SAFETY and MENTAL HEALTH into our own hands.
