By 1 January 2027, all existing Queensland homes must have:

✅ Photoelectric Smoke Alarms
✅ Interconnected so when one sounds, they all sound
✅ Installed in every bedroom
✅ Installed in hallways connecting bedrooms
✅ Installed on every level of the home
✅ Compliant with Australian Standards
