WORLD CAT DOMINATION DAY – JUNE 24

We thought we were running Mackay Pet Rescue.

Turns out we were wrong.

The cats have been in charge all along.

They dictate feeding schedules, approve our furniture choices, supervise every Zoom meeting and insist on sitting on important paperwork. Some have even mastered the art of screaming at 5 am for reasons known only to themselves.

At MPRI, we have surrendered completely.

Our volunteers no longer own beds, couches or clean black clothing. We simply exist to open tins, provide heated blankets and admire tiny furry overlords who occasionally allow us the privilege of rubbing their chins.

Meanwhile, kittens are being trained in advanced domination techniques:

* Attacking ankles from under the couch.
* Sitting on keyboards during important messages.
* Pretending they are starving despite eating 14 seconds ago.
* Knocking objects off benches just to remind humans who’s boss.
* Occupying your lap and making you cancel all plans because moving them would clearly be a crime.

So on World Cat Domination Day, we encourage everyone to stop resisting.

The takeover is complete.

And honestly we wouldn’t have it any other way.
