Loch CFA Fire and Rescue
Loch Rescue responding to a “truck roll over” today. Fortunately we did not have to go far as the driver was not trapped or injured. The captain dosn’t get to drive much. So when he does he has to share it with the world.
With the CFA declared fire danger period ending at 1am tomorrow Tuesday 7th. April its important to remember:
Just because you do not need a CFA permit does not mean you may not need a council permit. Check your local council bylaws to make sure.
Just because you can burn off does not mean it’s safe to do so and you can still be held accountable for any escaped burn offs.
You light it, you own it.
Register your burn to reduce the likely hood of a CFA brigade getting called.
1800 668 511 or www.firepermits.vic.gov.au
Contacting your local brigade is NOT registering your burn.
Check. Apply. Notify - Fire Permits Victoria Cooking, burn-offs, campfires, hot work, fireworks. Sparks, embers and flames from many activities can cause fires.
