Mental health is a $297 billion dollar economic issue in Australia, conservatively speaking.

Call me naive - with all this talking points around our country’s productivity deficit, I am convinced that if we fix the mental health crisis in this country, we boost our GDP.

Yes, instead of only investing into tech and systems to produce more with less manpower, we fix our people so that everyone gets a fair chance to play 100% at work.

Thank you for helping me understand that we tackle mental health issues not by adding more beds in hospital, not by installing fancy features in medical buildings, but by supporting community-led organisations and workers with lived experience who understand the heart of the complex needs at ground level.

Your work is improtant and noble. And your advocacy deserves major attention.
