With password security an integral part of our daily lives, it's easy to find yourself forgetting the unique password you came up with for the newest online account you have created.

You're doing the right thing creating different passwords and protecting yourself against hacking threats - but don't worry, there are tools that can help you securely store and recall these different passwords.

Online password storage platforms such as Last Pass, store your individual passwords for different websites in a secure encrypted database. You set one MASTER password for your Last Pass account, and store different user names and passwords for a website in your Last Pass account. Every time you go to login to a website whose details you have saved in Last Pass, it will recall the correct password and automatically insert for you to sign in.

Last Pass keeps your data secure, allows multi factor identification and you only need to remember a single master password.

Give it a try. https://buff.ly/2Fy8coG

How to report and reduce spam in your email.

There are several options you have, depending on where the email’s come from, and whether you’d like to report or complain about it.

⏺ If it is marketing material from something you may have signed up to at some point, there should be a link you can click to "unsubscribe". This is legally required under the Spam Act, and if there is no way for your to unsubscribe, you can escalate the issue to the ACMA.

⏺ Add the address to your spam list within your email, so they are filtered out of your inbox.

⏺ Importantly, never provide any sensitive or personal information, click links or downloads that you don't trust. Spam that tries to fool you into providing personal details or to join scams that sound too good to be true (like ‘get rich quick’ schemes) can be reported to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) through their Slam a cyberscam program.

⏺ If the email contains content you think might be prohibited, like po*******hy or pictures of violence, you might be able to register it as an internet content complaint through ACMA.

For more information about reporting and complaining about spam, visit ACMA’s spam reporting, complaints and enquiries site.

AI.....Artificial Intelligence.....it's the word we can't seem to go a day without hearing at the moment. But what exactly is it?

That's a very fair question, especially for those who don't work in the tech space everyday.

AI could be described as the science of making machines perform tasks that simulate humans, made possible through the ability process vast amounts of data that a human mind could not.

Truthfully, we have all been using product powered by some form of AI for a while now. Take Google Maps for example.

Googles machine learning models have been analysing data to map routes, accurately measure roads and distances, indicate traffic density and select fastest routes for some time. The impressiveness of their features are ever evolving as the power of their AI technology keeps increasing, but the concept is nothing new.

Here are a few other tools you may already be, or be able to adopt, in your everyday life that are powered by AI tech.

- Google Lens - search images on the web or from your phone camera to identify the location or items you can purchase.
- Grammarly - use it to check your spelling, grammar and receive intuitive suggestions on your writing
- Wallet .AI - Track your spending, categories and get helpful personal finance stats and tips
- Josh .AI - Link smart devices and appliances across the house to control and create your perfect home environment
- Gym Buddy - Personalised work out routines designed based on your feedback
