That comment stuck with me🤔

I don't have systems and routines because it comes easy to me, but because it is essential. They allow me to not just survive, but actually thrive, with a lifestyle I have created on purpose.

☀️This lifestyle is built, chosen and recommitted to daily. And the reward is well worth the effort, let me tell you.

🌏The world we live in pulls us toward convenience, distraction, overconsumption and burnout.

Health is no longer the default outcome of modern life.

✨️So, if you want to feel strong, energised, grounded, being intentional isn’t optional.

It’s the only option. ☝🏻

Not perfect, not extreme, just intentional, again and again.

What is Day 20?✨️

Well according to this footage, my day 20 is a day where I drink a whole lot of different beverages 🤣
..but yours doesn't have to be 😜❤️

In the average cycle, Day 21 is when hormonal shifts see you move into your late luteal phase... so the day 20 ritual is the preparation and pause before this shift.

But beyond this, Day 20 is a lifestyle, a way of going about looking after yourself and balancing the stillness and the striving.

Sometimes self care means doing less.

Saying no.

Letting the laundry wait.

Taking a rest day.

Allowing space for your body to rest and your mind to be still.

And sometimes self-care means taking action.

Getting up for the walk.

Making the appointment.

Doing the thing you’ve been putting off.

Both have their place.
Both are ways of honouring yourself.

And the thing you need most will often be the thing you are resisting.
