The Bass Highway is about to get a healthy dose of blue and white this weekend!

But before the buses are loaded and the playlists are argued over...

🏉 Friday Night Juniors are back at Rugby Park! Come down and watch the next generation of Penguins waddle, tackle and score their way into another great night of rugby.

Then it's time for the seniors to point the beaks north!

🏆 Premiership Men have circled one of the biggest games of the year as they take on Devonport in a genuine top-of-the-table blockbuster. It's also Devonport's Charity Day supporting one of their own, and we're proud to be part of a day that reminds us rugby is about far more than what happens between the sidelines.

🚌 Meanwhile, our Women's and Championship Men keep cruising up the Bass Highway to visit the Emus. In the battle of the flightless birds! We're not sure who thought an emu could outrun a penguin... but we're looking forward to putting that theory to the test.

It's a long drive, plenty of kilometres, and hopefully an even longer trip home with plenty of competition points in the luggage.

Whether you're at Rugby Park on Friday or making the trek north on Saturday, get behind the Penguins. Your support means everything.

This weekend, Taroona Rugby Club is proud to be supporting the incredible work of The Smith Family as our charity of choice in 2026.
Our Premiership Men, Championship Men and Women's teams will take the field wearing special socks to help raise awareness of the important role The Smith Family plays in supporting young Australians to overcome educational inequality caused by poverty.

Rugby is about more than what happens on the field. It's about community, connection, and lending a hand where we can. This collaboration reflects our commitment to making meaningful social impact. Here’s to helping young Australians build brighter futures for themselves, together.
