Job Advertisement: Experienced Mughlai Chef
Position: Mughlai Chef
Location: 21/166 Somerville Road, Hampton Park, Victoria, Australia 3976
Duration: Temporary (3 months)
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Mughlai Chef to join our team on a temporary basis for a period of 3 months. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the restaurant industry and possess expertise in preparing and cooking traditional Mughlai dishes.
The Mughlai Chef will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality preparation and presentation of Mughlai cuisine while also providing training and guidance to our permanent kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook a variety of Mughlai dishes with precision and authenticity.
• Train and supervise permanent kitchen staff in Mughlai cooking techniques and recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
• Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and specials.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with procurement as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the restaurant industry, with a focus on Mughlai cuisine.
• Competent in English, Dari, and Urdu/Hindi languages.
• Age between 40 to 50 years.
• Vaccinated and in good health.
• Any nationality welcome, but locals preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Food Safety Supervisor certification preferred.

Mughlai Dishes to be Cooked:
The Mughlai Chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of traditional Mughlai dishes, including but not limited to: Chicken Biryani, Mutton Korma, Chicken Tikka Masala, Rogan Josh, Seekh Kebab, Paneer Butter Masala, Butter Chicken, Mughlai Paratha, Shahi Tukda, Phirni, Galouti Kebab.
