Daniel Silverstein's vision was to change the waste produced by the fashion industry and create zero waste fashion collections. What is your design vision? What would you like to do or change?

Your vision doesn't have to be world changing. But defining your higher purpose does provide you with clarity and guidelines when making decisions for your brand.

Decisions such as - whether to produce offshore or locally? Which country to manufacture in? What can I afford and what should I compromise on? When you have a vision for your brand in mind, these sorts of decisions are easier to make.

When I am developing products, I like to have a print out of the line plan, and a check list that lists all the critical steps in the product development stage, in front of me.

It is a simple document, but it visually helps me to focus on the entire collection and helps me think about what needs following up, and find issues quickly.
