Do you have that shelf at home that you’ve walked by so many times that you no longer even notice it? It might be your brain’s way of shutting off to the clutter that is around you.

If you had a look around your home, how many of these spaces could you identify? It’s not about tackling them all at once. It’s all about starting small. Choose a space that you know you complete in one go. It’s also a good opportunity to do a stocktake and get rid of things you no longer need or no longer service a purpose.

What space will you start on first? If you’re on the Gold Coast and need some help getting started, get in touch 😊

How do you envisage your home looking? It is a calm environment? Is it chaotic? Maybe you're not sure.

If your intention is to become more organised at home, be clear and honest with yourself about what's stopped you in the past. Once you've worked it out, begin to untangle your clutter. Start slowly. It’s about baby steps. Before you know it, it will become part of your routine.

It might be hard to believe, but sorting through this one shelf took almost three hours! Here's the before, during and after.

My client is an artist who has collected many bits and pieces over the years. Whilst some items were orgainsed, others were not. The plan was to get them out of their current containers and into new ones. We organised them into colour.

De-cluttering and organising small things can be fiddly work but once it's done, it's done! It's also a good way to take stock of what you actually have and no longer need.

My client purchased the new containers from Bunnings and and they were perfect for this.
