This is most of my week — moving through homes and getting an understanding of what the homeowner is looking for in their space.
I tailor the art I see, looking at what Gold Coast artists are making right now - to a selection for that home. It takes the overwhelm out of the process of looking for your art.
It makes it personal, I share the artists stories with you. Our art community is phenomenal. When you work with me, you get a connection to this community - priceless.
It’s not a bad way to spend a Thursday. Actually, it might be one of the best parts of my job.

The best rooms are rarely the ones with the most stuff in them.
They’re the ones where someone made one considered decision about what goes on the wall. One piece. Chosen well.
I’ve watched it change how a whole room feels, more times than I can count.
If you’re working with a quiet, neutral space and wondering where to start — happy to talk it through. The artists I work with are local to the Gold Coast and there is an amazing breadth of work available. I tailor the art selection to you and your home.

One good piece of art can do more for a room than a full renovation. I know that sounds dramatic — but I’ve watched it happen.
Art anchors the space. Sets the tone. Tells anyone who walks in something about the person who lives there. Finding the piece here has a lot of history with me, it's personal.
You don’t need a full collection. You need one right piece. A piece you connect with.
If you’re hunting for yours, sometimes having someone to help you look is just what you need. I'd love to help - DM me to start a conversation.
Art doesn’t have to be the loudest thing in the room.
Sometimes the quietest piece is the one doing the most work — placed at the end of a hallway, drawing your eye, giving the whole space a sense of arrival.
If you’ve ever walked into a room and felt like something was missing, there’s a good chance the answer is on the wall.
Want a second opinion on your space? DM me — completely no-obligation.
There’s a sculpture in my garden right now with a story most people will never hear.
A sculpture outdoors lives a completely different life to one in a gallery. It has weather. Light that shifts through the day - changing how it looks and feels.
If you’ve got an outdoor space you’ve never quite known what to do with, this is worth thinking about.
Curious if it’d work in your garden? DM me — happy to chat.
Ceramic wall art doesn’t get nearly enough credit.
Most people hear ‘ceramics’ and picture a fruit bowl. Fair enough. But hung on a wall, it’s a completely different experience — you’re close enough to see the maker’s hand in it. The glazing. The small decisions. The slight imperfections.
It has a kind of intimacy a print just can’t match.
If you’ve got a wall that’s been waiting for the right piece, this might be it. DM me and I’ll talk you through it — no pressure.

People assume I just ‘pick something nice.’ I wish it were that simple.
Behind every recommendation is a stack of notes — artists I’m tracking, pieces I can’t stop thinking about, homes I’ve walked through where the right artwork changed the whole feel of the room.
None of it is guesswork. It’s pattern recognition, built up one home at a time.
If you’re wondering what that process would look like for your place — DM me. No pressure, just a chat.

That is it.

There is a version of buying art that is quick and convenient. It arrives in a box. You hang it. Done.
And then there is another version.
You drive up a mountain. You spend an afternoon with the person who made the thing you are taking home. You hear the story behind it.
Both are valid. Honestly.
But only one of them changes how you feel about the object forever.
I know which one I prefer.
Which would you rather? Drop a comment️ below.
