This is it. We are finally shutting shop for good 😢 in 2 weeks I will shut our website down. honestlynatural.com.au/shop/

It was always a hard decision but as life got super tough for many small businesses over recent months I also had to make the decision like others to do what was in our best interest to survive.
I have put everything at or below cost price on the site, and removed anything I don't have in stock so it is easy for you to go through my last products.

I want to thank you for the support while I tried to build Honestly Natural. I know it could have gone far but I just don't have the time or energy to continue that any more.
Eco Fairy Cleaning is now my priority and I have a wonderful team of local ladies who help me in this new venture.
I appreciate your help with shutting shop by purchasing products. This money will help go toward getting uniforms and marketing materials for our new adventure 😁

Grab a bargain for Christmas or stock up on your fav products while they are at cost prices. I will make a new website for all things natural that will go alongside Eco fairy so feel free to follow us there and hopefully not to far away I will have that up and running. I would love to have cleaning, kitchen and laundry products for sale, blogs just like I used to do and lots of DIY natural cleaning tips. We have some pretty good techniques for cleaning now. Lots of little hacks my team and I use for cleaning homes.

Thank you again for all your kind words and support over the years with Honestly Natural

Thank you so much for all the support while we shut down and change over to Eco Fairy Cleaning . While our FB is still up and running I wanted to let you know about some ingredients changes I have noticed.

Abode dish liquid has just recently changed some of their formulations (which is so sad as they were my go to). The dish liquid now contains Phenoxyethanol which can be quite irritating to the skin according to the EWG and especially to people who suffer dermatitis. I will be searching and adding new dish liquids to our Eco fairy page once it is up and running which won't contain any possible irritants

P'ure papayacre has rebranded and you may have noticed their new purple packaging. Their skin food and lips have had one ingredient added - Lactobacillus Ferment (this one is a little unknown) so if your after it with the old ing. we still have one lip left and one sml skin food. Lactobacillus Ferment could be ok, but just be wary of some of the new products in the range if you are avoiding certain irritants. I noticed these ingredients in some of the new range, which are a No for us. Sodium Hydroxide, Radish Root Ferment Filtrate and potassium sorbate.

Lastly my old fav, little urchin sunscreen has also had a recent change and added Glyceryl Isostearate & Polyhydroxystearic Acid to their sunscreens. One has no data on the EWG and Glyceryl is a 1-3 stating it could be an irritant.

I asked Adele our in-house aromatherapist to give us the low down of Clove oil as this is one oil I usually say NO to. According to the environmental working group (EWG) it can be a skin irritant or allergen. It is a rating 4 on their skin deep scale.
As we only allow ingredients with only a rating 1-2 on the site I spoke with Adele our in house aromatherapist to get some more info on Clove oil and if it is ok in SOME products (such as our naturally goat laundry powder as it is a washed off before touching the skin).

Adele has told me that in small amounts it’s great, and for specific uses. Clove oil is known to be Hypersensitive, and contraindicated on diseased or damaged skin. It should also be AVOIDED FOR CHILDREN UNDER 2. This is why it is always so important to always get info from a qualified aromatherapist.

The maximum dermal use is 0.5% for Clove bud and 0.6% for clove leaf. Though some aromatherapy experts recommend to stay away from clove leaf entirely. Remember essential oils are super concentrated. So is not the same as a clove infusion. It is a hot oil so be wary of using it with kids in a off the shelf product.

Adele also mentioned a few beneficial ways to use clove oil. She doesn’t recommend it be used for ‘beauty’ (which is why you won’t see it in any of our products except for laundry or cleaning products). It is however great for mould removal, hence it has been used for athletes foot! It’s also good for colds, nausea, arthritis, and to help digestion issues.

Our one product which does contain clove is our Naturally Goat Laundry powder, clove helps to get rid of bacteria on your vlothinghttps://www.honestlynatural.com.au/shop/naturally-goat-concentrated-laundry-powder-3/

Hopefully that clears up a few things regarding clove oil for you, I will still only be using it for non topical products as it can be irritating to some people.
