How time flies! It only seems like yesterday that we were wishing you the compliments of the season one year ago.
We hope 2024 has been a successful year in which you created new experiences and memories with family and friends.
Once again, we wish you and yours a very merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and prosperous year ahead.

Terry Powell is pleased to advise that Wealth Built Right has merged with several colleagues from Shartru Wealth Management.

Jeff John has been appointed CEO and will also provide financial advice. Jeff began life as a Lawyer, moved into logistics with major corporations before becoming a financial advisor over 10 years ago. Jeff's people skills are complemented by a strong strategic focus which ensures our clients receive exemplary advice.

Neil Stafford has joined our team and has recently attended a national advisory council on the future of retirement income policies being one of only a few invitees. Neil's knowledge on superannuation and taxation is well sought after and he brings significant expertise to Wealth Built Right.

Rob Coyte will service our interstate clients. Rob has been in the industry for 20 plus years and has built a national advice business in addition to having significant investment expertise. Rob is the chairman of Wealth Built Right's Board.

Laurie Lopez will operate as our Practice Manager and will be our first contact point.

In addition to our new team members expertise, we also have access to resources involving Aged Care and International Superannuation.

After 30 years in the industry, Terry Powell will step down from advice. He will remain as a Director and will be active on the Wealth Built Right Board. Terry will continue to be involved supporting the new team.

This is an exciting new chapter to the future of Wealth Built Right!

This morning we had the pleasure of attending a charity breakfast in support of Cottage by the Sea, hosted by Ambassador, Ian Cover.

Wealth Built Right clients Don & Judy Blackmore, Peter & Alison Searle, Mark Donato & Kate Morrissy, Lucy Cuddihy, Geoffrey & Morag Mann and Ann Hague joined us for an enjoyable morning.

We had the pleasure of hearing from the witty and inspiring guest speaker Dr Paul Taylor (a former British Royal Navy Aircrew Officer, Neuroscientist, Exercise Physiologist and Nutritionist, PhD Scholar and all-round ‘Pracademic’) who gave us tips on “Tackling the Winter Blues.”. We also heard from The Unbreakable Farmer – Warren Davies (Ambassador) and Rebecca Maddern (Patron).

Prizes were raffled off to raise funds for Cottage by the Sea, and we are pleased to say that Don and Judy Blackmore were winners of the ‘Cottage by the Sea morning tea’. Well done Don and Judy!

We would like to thank everyone for joining us to support such a great cause.

Christmas seems to have snuck up on us very quickly this year. However, It has been terrific that our world returned to some form of normality in 2022 even though not too many people I know escaped catching the dreaded Covid.

The decade long party of low inflation and low interest rates came to a resounding halt and most markets underperformed over the past year. From what I can see people are still spending despite rising interest rates and what we read in the press.

But then again, misery loves a friend and consequently I don’t take too much notice of what the mainstream press has to say on a day-to-day basis. Most of it is irrelevant noise.

The world has a funny way of muddling its way along and building diversified portfolios of quality assets on an ongoing basis is the key to wealth creation and a means of reducing the inevitable volatility that seems to be more prevalent than ever.

We find the start of a new year is a wonderful time to set new goals and aspirations then make them a reality. As always, we will continue to support you to set new goals, give you the confidence to act and make decisions that will increase the certainty of achieving what’s most important to you.

We trust you have a very enjoyable Christmas with family and friends and look forward to working with you in 2023 and sharing in your adventures.
