Yesterday marked the inaugural edition of Run Club with the crew. It was a pleasure to meet so many new people, and also see some familiar faces too.
The group have taken on a six-week running program designed by yours truly, and I am excited for what is to come.
We were spoilt with such a beautiful morning for running, and it was a pleasure to see new friendships being formed as the group worked together to push each other along.
Well done to those who got themselves out of their comfort zone and took part in the event.
Looking forward to the next installment soon!

Solid session last night for the lads as part of the KPT Dads Program.
We are now in week 3 of the 6 week program and it has been great to see the progression of these two men who both bring effort and intensity to each session, giving their absolute all.
Last nights session involved some strength work for the first portion of the session, before finishing off with some conditioning aimed at getting the heart pumping and the lungs blowing. It’s fair to say they both achieved that objective.
Well done fellas, it’s great to watch you both strive for improvement with every session.

Whilst not directly related to anything done in the gym, this fitness tip is designed to give you a better chance of getting a good night sleep. If you’re anything like me, you know that a s**t sleep can have massive implications for how you function the next day.

Putting your phone on charge in another room is an example of you placing barriers (literally and figuratively) between yourself and the action you are trying to avoid.

Without the ease of simply rolling over to check your social media feed multiple times a night, this places you in a better position to have a quality sleep and have you raring to go the next day. Similarly, not being able to scroll the moment you open your eyes can prevent the overwhelming flood of information (most of it completely useless) hitting your brain as you take the time to wake up and gather your thoughts.

So if you’re someone who would like to spend less time scrolling, give this tip a go!
