Every child artist we work with has amazing curiosity and talent. Here we pushed one of our perfectionists to work fast and messy. The top study took most of the class. It is a delicate exploration of form and texture. The bottom two were speed sketches - 3 minutes and then 1 minute! Isn’t it wonderful to see the free marks and feel like the bird is truly flying! Bravo Queen Elsie- we love your work!

And this sensational friend hopped into Art Play. We were so inspired we decided that next week we will make giant beetles and other insect art!
