💜 The Lavender Project 💜

Helping make positive change.

From now on at each major event I attend I’ll be having a small fundraiser for organisations and charity’s that help make a positive change too.

I want myself and BeesWitchyBits to be able to help and bring more positivity and awareness to the community I’m in by giving a helping hand to chosen organisations and charities that will help others from all walks of life.

Beginning with something myself and most of the people I know battle with everyday.

The Black Dog.

I personally suffer from Anxiety, Depression and PTSD and isn’t something I talk a lot about publicly. I have so many friends and family members who struggle with their own battles with the black dog. When I’m tabling at conventions and markets alot of people tend to stop and have a chat. Some even open up to me and talk about their own mental health issues, alot of the time, they are either the same age as me or younger than me. I don’t want to lose people in my life to the black dog, it’s wishful thinking.

I’ve decided for the debut of The Lavender Project, I want to support The Black Dog Institute
BDI is helping change the stigma associated with mental health issues, with speaking up and providing help and helpful tools and resources.

This is why during the Kaiga Anime Convention weekend, I’ll have $2.00 lucky dips and $8.00 Mystery Wooden Pins and all the proceeds raised from those items being sold over the Kaiga Anime Convention Weekend will be donated to the Black Dog Institute after the weekend.

If you would like to donate, I would highly recommended going online to their website and making a donation.
