At the languagesfestival , we embraced the rich tapestry of cultures that make Melbourne’s West vibrant. Celebrating and the diverse languages of our community strengthens our social fabric. It’s a testament to how language connects us all, fostering understanding and unity in our local communities.

The simple idea that shaped modern Australia:
8 hours work, 8 hours rest, 8 hours for life.

Today we honour the workers and the movements who fought for fairness, dignity, and balance in our lives. These rights were not given — they were won.

Happy Labour Day.

Had the privilege of attending the , curated by the talented The Poseidoniate. This immersive experience shared the powerful stories of migrant families in Australia. It was an honour to see former students Christina and Jamie channel their passion for history and identity into this meaningful exhibition. 🌍✨

Today, we pause to remember and honor the sacrifices of all those who served and continue to serve in defense of our nation. On Remembrance Day, we reflect on the bravery, resilience, and commitment of our servicemen and women throughout history.

Lest we forget. 🌺

Thank you to everyone who supported my campaign and to the thousands who trusted me with their vote. While this wasn’t the outcome we hoped for, I want to congratulate Victoria Borg on her victory and wish her every success in serving our community.

The west has been neglected for far too long, and I remain deeply committed to advocating for the needs and opportunities our community deserves. I look forward to working with Brimbank Council to ensure we continue making positive strides for everyone in our area.

To my family, friends, and supporters—your unwavering belief and support mean the world to me. This is just the beginning. I will continue to stand up, speak out, and work tirelessly for Brimbank and the west. Together, our best days are ahead.

Thank you all. Let’s keep moving forward.

Happy World Teachers’ Day! 🎉 Today, we celebrate the incredible dedication and hard work of teachers across Brimbank and around the world. As a teacher myself, I know firsthand the impact education has on shaping young minds and building a brighter future for our community. Teachers go above and beyond every day to inspire, educate, and support their students. Let’s take a moment to thank the amazing educators who are making a difference in the lives of our children. 🙌❤️ 👩‍🏫 👨‍🏫

This is Michael, a proud local business owner and father of two young children. For Michael, the cost of living and access to affordable childcare are top concerns, alongside ensuring his business thrives in Brimbank. Like many parents, he wants the best for his kids and to see his community grow stronger. If elected, I will work hard to address these issues, advocating for better childcare options and tackling cost-of-living pressures in the role that Brimbank City Council has to play. It’s people like Michael that I’ll be fighting for every day.

I had the privilege of meeting with the Elderly Citizens Club at St Andrews Community Hall. It was a fantastic opportunity to hear directly from the president and members about the challenges our elderly citizens face in Brimbank, from access to essential services to the need for better public facilities. Listening to their concerns has strengthened my commitment to ensuring that Brimbank remains a supportive and inclusive place for all seniors. Together, we can work to improve aged care services, enhance public safety, and create spaces where our elderly community can thrive.
