quiet for a minute but life wasn’t

Yesterday marked 3 years since we opened our doors - and wow were the beginnings HUMBLING 😂
One staff member (queen .bocajbeauty), maybe 6 appointments a week, no clear plan, no investors backing me, NO DOORS on the treatment rooms yet - just one mentor, an Audible subscription, a dream, and vibes 😅

Fast forward to today: my five girls are booked & busy, I’m booked until the end of April, and our team continues to grow 🥹

Being 100 though, it may look easy, but this s**t is HARD. In the beginning you’re bleeding money so YOU become the graphic designer, marketing director, social media manager, client relationship manager, photographer, editor, negotiator, trainer, therapist, strategist, cleaner, service operator, stock manager - I can keep going.. 😂
It really isn’t always glamorous.
Would I change it for the world though? Absolutely not. They’re called ‘growing pains’ for a reason, right?

Three years feels like forever, and five minutes at the exact same time.
