This week we're introducing one of our wonderful veterinary nurses, Alexis! 💙
For Alexis, the best part of the job is helping pets get back to full health and supporting the families who love them. She also says it's the amazing team and caring clients at Eltham Vets that make coming to work such a rewarding experience.

🐶 She has a soft spot for Labradors.
🤍 She's dreaming of welcoming a White Swiss Shepherd into her family one day.
🍔 And when it comes to Grill'd... she's sticking with the three sliders because, as she says, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" 😄

💛Dr Grace grew up in the leafy suburbs of east Melbourne and was fortunate enough to spend time in her childhood on her family’s hobby Angus farm in rural Victoria. Her experiences on this farm influenced her desire to study animal science, and she was particularly interested in studying veterinary medicine after witnessing the veterinary response to the Black Saturday bushfires of 2009🫶
She studied Veterinary Medicine at James Cook University in far north Queensland☀ and graduated in 2025. She returned to Melbourne for her family and Melbourne’s arts and culture.
Whilst she enjoys both large and small animal medicine, Grace loves the investigative aspect of small animal medicine, and relishes in building rapport with clients and their pets🐾🥰
She’s the first to say that she has many hobbies outside of work, including competitive tennis🎾 hiking🌿 arts🎭 and crafts🎨🧶 and video games🎮
