Daly Rivers to Humpty Doo via Katherine Local Court House
14-15 November 2024
Arrived in Daly Waters for an overnight stay at the cabins and had dinner at the Pub which had a lot of character and had great service. Rang ahead in case the kitchen was closed and they had the meals waiting for us upon arrival. The place is a bit like a museum with lots of old machinery including a Hills Hoist Helicopter.
The water buffalo that live amongst the cabins were not all shy, whilst one with large horns was cute, when they invited their mates not so cute, particularly when they decided to run as as a herd to block the Troopy. Visited Katherine Local Court House the next day which was very modern and had a great setup. The Troopy finally arrived at it's home base in Humpty Doo late afternoon ready to visit the Darwin Local Court on its next trip.
