UCC History Project Questionnaire
UCC is 50 years old!
We want to hear your anecdotes, see your photos and share your memories. Tell us your war stories!

But more than that, we also need your help to safeguard the club's future for the next 50 years.

In 2020, UCC almost lost the clubroom, because of a change in Guild Tenancy rules. Thanks to a herculean effort, the club successfully managed to keep the clubroom, but is now required to justify its existence every three years to keep that space in Cameron Hall.

Documenting UCC's history won't simply be about capturing the historical details of the club, it will also help to establish to external parties how important UCC is for UWA students.

History Project :: UCC The University Computer Club was formed in 1974 by some lunatics who wanted to fool around with computers. Having no money, this meant playing with donated equipment discarded by others, i.e. computing gear from the 1960s. Scary stuff!
