Life Balance Transition

Have you ever been asked “Have you got two minutes?” or any variation on that? It’s only two minutes, right? We can spare that.
But two minutes can change our life.
When we decide to make a permanent change in our life, it comes down to making that change a habit.
The first few days go well as we’re excited and motivated about it. After a while, the excitement wares off and we say things like “I’ll do it tomorrow”. We’ve lost our motivation; the new habit becomes a chore, and we give up on it.
The vision we give ourselves of our new habit can be overwhelming and this gives us mental resistance – “It’s too hard”. Think about writing a book. Initially it’s no problem, but once the motivation dissipates there’s nothing driving us forward, and we give up on it.
The way around this is focusing on making our new habit permanent by using the two-minute rule. The two-minute rule tricks our brain into thinking that our new habit is not too hard, by breaking the new habit down into a two-minute version of it – like writing a sentence a day.
This makes it easier to start and once we start it’s easy to continue. A sentence becomes a paragraph which becomes a chapter which becomes a book.
The most important part is getting started. Taking small consistent action will let us grow our goals further down the way.

Getting out of your comfort zone is hard.
But look at the rewards.

We choose to go to the moon in this decade and do other things,
Not because they are easy,
But because they are hard.”

John Kehoe, in his work on Mind Power, tells us there are six laws of the mind.
#6 – The inner and outer worlds are connected.
As per #1 – we live simultaneously in two worlds.
The outer world influences and affects the inner world.
The outer world bullies, dominates and mesmerises the inner world. We are hypnotised by and transfixed with the outer world.
Just as the outer world influences the inner world, the inner world can influence the outer world.
But the inner world can only start influencing the outer world when we stop reacting constantly to the outer world and letting it dominate our consciousness.
We need to separate our consciousness from the outer world.
The outer world is a totally different independent world, a totally different reality.
We become powerful when we realise we are not limited in the inner world by what’s happening in our life.
We need to work in the inner world to manifest, create and direct the outer world.

John Kehoe, in his work on Mind Power, tells us there are six laws of the mind.
#5 – Law of insertion.
The law of insertion states we have the power and ability to insert any thought of any type into our mind.
This is probably the greatest law we have but it is rarely used to anywhere near its potential and possibilities.
Remember, thoughts are real forces.
We are not limited in any way to our reality or our consciousness in choosing our thoughts.
Every day we should be inserting thoughts into our mind.
Inserting thoughts of success, personal power, health, abundance and the like.
Why? Well, why not?
We’d think a person to be a fool if they didn’t take advantage of this law.
What do you reckon?
Time to start actively inserting thoughts into our mind that best serve ourselves?
