The CIA Team Building Day was an informative day presenting the exciting changes to come for the business this year, a major announcement was made to the team regarding our Strategic Partnership with Network Insurance Group, and the team are excited about the new opportunities this will present. Following the formalities, the team had some fun, team building and competitive relaxation with lawn bowls, followed by a team dinner. We also took the opportunity to thank Neil Chambers for coming out of retirement to be an exemplary Santa at the 2022 Staff Christmas Party.

After two years of lockdowns, Australians are ready and planning to travel. According to a survey* released by the Insurance Council of Australia (ICA) and the Australian Government’s Smartraveller website, more than two thirds (68 per cent) think that if an Australian has a medical emergency overseas, a representative will ensure they get the medical treatment they need. Fifty per cent believe that if an Australian has a medical emergency overseas the Australian Government will arrange and fund repatriation. This of course is a fallacy.
