It's clear they are trolling us all on this one with the transmission oil pan access aren't they?

Audi want to fill these for life but ZF recommend servicing? Who would you trust? Not a cheap service but it's not a cheap transmission either! If you have travelled 80 - 120k kms it's definitely something to consider.

Interestingly these transmissions have the strainer actually integrated into the plastic pan. So a proper service involves a new plastic pan. Not just a drain/refill.
